Zhenqiang Zheng, Doctor of Chinese Medicine

Born in 1963, Dr. Zheng suffered from rectal prolapse and pigeon breast at the age of four. There was a temple in Yutian Village, Changle City, Fujian Province, called Qianwu Temple. A monk from the temple was good at acupuncture. The monk gave Dr. Zheng acupuncture treatment once a day for three months, and told him to eat stewed sheep's hooves. After eating hundreds of sheep's hooves, Dr. Zheng was cured. After that, he became fascinated with acupuncture, and later studied Traditional Chinese Medicine. After graduating in 1986, he was assigned to the Yutian Village Health Station of the Yutian Town Health Center in the most rural area of China for 11 years as a TCM practitioner. During that period, he treated many patients with emergency situations, and he was known for his superb medical skills and noble medical ethics. Until this day, stories of Dr. Zheng working tirelessly, and treating patients with serious diseases are still told by people in his hometown. Dr. Zheng immigrated to the United States in 1996, and continued his practice in Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Dr. Zheng has forty-three years of clinical experience in Traditional Chinese Medicine. He learned from many skilled TCM practitioners. Dr. Zheng also studied internal style martial art, calligraphy and meditation from a young age. He specializes in Linggui Bagua acupuncture and Tui Na. He is experienced in using Zhenwu Tang to tonify the yang to treat patients with lupus erythematosus caused by deficient yang, advanced cancer, stroke sequela, and other difficult to cure diseases.

Since 2015, he has collaborated with Dr. Ming Wu to offer training courses on acupuncture and Tui Na at the Wuyi Mountain Branch of Taoist Institute of TCM, responsible for passing on the Linggui Bagua acupuncture technique to the next generation.
