Back Pain Story

I met Dr. Wu about 6 weeks ago.

It is important for people to realize that for the past three years I had lived in severe back pain. I had had three back surgeries. The 2nd one leaving me with foot drop. I had three epidural injections and lived on pain killers just to minimize the pain but it never took the pain away. On top of being in severe pain I was made to feel like I was becoming a drug addict. I was as a last resort referred to a pain clinic. They decided I was a good candidate for a procedure where they implant a box in your back and it sends messages to the brain that takes the pain away and replaces it with tingling. It is the same procedure Jerry Lewis had. It actually involved 2 surgeries. I was so damaged and scared at this point that I decided not to have the procedure done. I was so afraid that it wouldn't work. So, I figured I'd live the rest of my life on pain pills. However, my doctor told me if I didn't have the surgery there would be no more pain pills, so for the next 3 to 4 months I lived in severe pain. I went to bed at night in severe pain and crying and I awoke in the morning crying in severe pain. My night would consist of about one to 2 hours sleep. Some nights I didn't sleep at all. I finally decided my quality of life was gone and I started trying to figure out a way to tell my family I had decided I didn't want to live anymore. I wanted to die. I was contemplating suicide.

It is amazing how "God" knows when you can handle no more.

I was talking to my niece about how I was feeling and she told me about a young doctor of Chinese medicine that was very successful at helping people that traditional medicine had given up on and that he actually had perfected a healing for people with back problems. She said he was very busy but I should stop by the healing center and see when I could get an appointment with him. So I did. I figured it would be 6 months or more before I could get an appointment with him. However, as it happened he was there the day I stopped by. He talked to me and told me he could help me and would I like to start that very day. That day was the start of changing my life. I have had five sessions with him and I am almost completely pain free.

Dr. Ming Wu is my miracle from God. He saved my life. No surgery, no drugs. Just his hands. He is a very committed young man with a passion for making people well. I will always be eternally grateful to Dr. Wu and I thank God daily that he is in my life.
