Paul (Yongfeng) Qu

Similarly to Dr. Wu himself, Paul comes from a Lineage of healing. Paul's own Father learned from a local villager native to their hometown located in a rural area of China. Paul's Father even wrote a book detailing what he learned in addition to his life experience spanning over 6 decades. Dr. Wu adds that he read the book several times over and over again and when asked if he was serious, he exclaimed, "Of course! It's a real story with real value. I can't read trash, it is a waste of my time. This book is special and that's why I read it more than once."

 MY SPECIALTY:

 I am a licensed Acupuncturist in the State of MA. Since 1993. In total, I spent 7 years in 2 schools, three years to earn my Acupuncture & Moxibustion major degree, and four years to earn my TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) major degree. I started practice acupuncture & moxibustion treatment in Sept. 1985, in Beijing.  I specialize in traditional Chinese Acupuncture & Moxibustion treatment, I am the 3rd generation of my family practice in Acupuncture & Moxibustion, I practice Chinese Herbal Medicine, Acupressure and Qi Gong energy healing. 

EDUCATION

 Sept. 1982— Aug. 1985       Studied Acupuncture& Moxibustion major in Beijing School of        Traditional Chinese Medicine, China.

Sept. 1987—  July 1991        Studied Traditional Chinese Medicine major in Beijing University of    Traditional Chinese Medicine, China.

Sept. 1992—  July 1993        Studied Business Administration major in Quincy College, MA   USA

July 1998—Present         Studing Qi Gong/Energy healing, Tom Tam Healing System with Tom Tam in Boston MA, USA.

Sept. 2000－Present I go back to China every year to learn different skills and update techniques from different expert and professor in Traditional Chinese Medicine field since 2000.

WORK EXPERIENCE

Sept 1985—Oct. 1991          Worked for China Association for Research & Development of TCM & Herbs, Special Clinics for Foreigners in Beijing.

Jan. 1993— June , 1999       Worked at Backworks, Inc.  in its Cambridge office, Boston office and Lowell office  as a Licensed Acupuncturist.

July 1998— Aug. 2013         Worked at Lea Tam Acupuncture Center with Tom Tam in Boston as a Licensed Acupuncturist. (on Saturdays )

Sept.2000 --- Jan. 2018         Worked at Metta Health Center of Lowell Community Health Center as a Licensed Acupuncturist (specialized pain management). (13 hours/week)

 Aug. 2002----March, 2012     worked at Outpatient Substance Abuse Treatment department of Lowell Community Health Center performing acupuncture detox program services. 

Feb. 2006 — Jan. 2018   Worked at CARINO Dept. HIV/AIDS Services of Lowell Community Health Center as a Licensed Acupuncturist.  

Oct. 2015 --- Present              Working at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) as a Licensed     Acupuncturist.
